Cemetery
The Hooper City Cemetery is located at 5290 S 6300 W. The Cemetery office is located at the Hooper City Civic Center. All information concerning the cemetery, including records, purchasing procedure, regulations, etc., shall be obtained from the office.

Records Request
The City Recorder acts as a compliance officer for state and local statutes including the Government Records Access and Management Act (GRAMA), and the Open and Public Meetings Act.

Records requests must be made and submitted to the City Recorder's Office. State law requires the person making the request to include the following: name, mailing address, and daytime telephone number.
​
To receive information, fill out our GRAMA request form and submit it to the office of the City Recorder.

Fraud Reporting
The Hooper City Fraud Hotline provides an avenue for citizens, employees, and vendors/contractors, to report improper governmental activities including:

Violations of a law, rule, regulation, or policy applicable to the City

Tips/complaints regarding regular City operations that do not involve the bulleted items above should not use the fraud hotline email. Those types of tips/complaints should be communicated directly to the responsible City department.
Tips/complaints submitted through the fraud hotline should be submitted with sufficient information to allow a proper investigation. This should include any evidence that supports the tip/complaint. Essential information includes specifics on ‘who, what, where, when’ as well as any other details that may be important such as information on other witnesses, documents, and pertinent evidence.

Hooper City is excited to announce the launch of TextMyGov services as another convenient way for residents, employees and visitors to communicate with Hooper City. You can sign up to receive text message notifications whenever Hooper City needs to get a message out such as Upcoming Events, Garbage Delays, Cemetery Notices, Road Closures, and more.
