ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS 

HOOPER CITY CORPORATION 

HOOPER, UTAH 

5500 WEST – 4200 SOUTH TO 3550 SOUTH  

Hooper City Corporation (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: 

5500 West – 4200 South to 3550 South  

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Hooper City Civic Center located at 5580 West 4600 South, Hooper, Utah 84315, until Wednesday, December 22, 2022 at 10 am local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.  

The Project includes the following Work: 

The reconstruction of approximately 4,900 feet of 5500 West roadway between 4200 South to 3550 South; construction includes storm drain system, curb and gutter, sidewalk, pavement, gravity irrigation system, and adjustments to existing utilities.  The project will be separated into a base bid and additive bid. 

Owner anticipates that the Project’s total bid price will be approximately $5 million. The Project is expected to be substantially complete by October 1, 2023. 

Bids will be received for a single prime contract.  Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price as indicated in the Bid Form. 

The Issuing Office for the Contract Documents is: QuestCDN. Prospective Bidders may obtain copies of the Contract Documents from the Issuing Office at www.questcdn.com, eBidDoc # 8319996 or at www.jub.com and clicking on the “Plans” tab. The contract documents will be available Monday, November 28, 2022. 

A pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at 10:00 am local time at Hooper City Civic Center located at 5580 West 4600 South, Hooper, Utah 84315. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is encouraged but not required.
